ดัชนีดาวโจนส์ ปิดวันพุธ(4ส.ค.)ดิ่งลง 323 จุด หลังสหรัฐเปิดเผยตัวเลขการจ้างงานภาคเอกชนที่น่าผิดหวังในเดือนก.ค.
นอกจากนี้ ตลาดยังถูกกดดันจากการเปิดเผยผลประกอบการที่ต่ำกว่าคาดของบริษัทเจเนอรัล มอเตอร์ (จีเอ็ม) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทผลิตรถยนต์รายใหญ่ที่สุดของสหรัฐ

ดัชนีเฉลี่ยอุตสาหกรรมดาวโจนส์ ร่วงลง 323.73 จุด หรือ 0.92% ปิดที่ 34,792.67 จุด ดัชนีเอสแอนด์พี 500 ร่วง 20.49 จุด หรือ 0.46% ปิดที่ 4,402.66 จุด และดัชนีแนสแด็ก ปรับตัวขึ้น 19.24 จุด หรือ 0.13% ปิดที่ 14,780.53 จุด

ราคาหุ้นจีเอ็มดิ่งลง 6% ในการซื้อขายวันนี้ หลังบริษัทเปิดเผยผลประกอบการไตรมาส 2 ที่ต่ำกว่าตัวเลขคาดการณ์ของนักวิเคราะห์

ออโตเมติก ดาต้า โพรเซสซิ่ง อิงค์ (เอดีพี) และมูดี้ส์ อนาลิติกส์ เปิดเผยว่า การจ้างงานของภาคเอกชนสหรัฐเพิ่มขึ้นเพียง 330,000 ตำแหน่งในเดือนก.ค. ซึ่งเป็นระดับต่ำที่สุดนับตั้งแต่เดือนก.พ. และต่ำกว่าที่นักวิเคราะห์คาดการณ์ที่ระดับ 653,000 ตำแหน่ง

นอกจากนี้ เอดีพียังปรับลดตัวเลขการจ้างงานของภาคเอกชนในเดือนมิ.ย.สู่ระดับ 680,000 ตำแหน่ง จากเดิมรายงานที่ระดับ 692,000 ตำแหน่ง

ภาคบริการมีการจ้างงาน 318,000 ตำแหน่งในเดือนก.ค. ขณะที่ภาคการผลิตมีการจ้างงานเพียง 12,000 ตำแหน่ง

การจ้างงานที่ชะลอตัวในเดือนก.ค.ได้รับผลกระทบจากการแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 สายพันธุ์เดลตา

ขณะเดียวกัน นักลงทุนจับตาการเปิดเผยตัวเลขจ้างงานนอกภาคเกษตรในวันศุกร์นี้ โดยตัวเลขดังกล่าวถือเป็นตัวเลขจ้างงานตัวสุดท้าย ก่อนที่ธนาคารกลางสหรัฐ (เฟด) จะจัดการประชุมประจำปีที่เมืองแจ็กสัน โฮล รัฐไวโอมิง ในวันที่ 26-28 ส.ค.

'นักวิเคราะห์คาดการณ์ว่า ในวันศุกร์นี้ กระทรวงแรงงานสหรัฐจะรายงานตัวเลขการจ้างงานนอกภาคเกษตรพุ่งขึ้น 926,000 ตำแหน่งในเดือนก.ค. สูงกว่าที่เพิ่มขึ้น 850,000 ตำแหน่งในเดือนมิ.ย.

หากตัวเลขการจ้างงานออกมาแข็งแกร่ง ก็จะเป็นปัจจัยสนับสนุนให้เฟดเริ่มปรับลดวงเงินในการซื้อพันธบัตรตามมาตรการผ่อนคลายเชิงปริมาณ (คิวอี)

นักลงทุนคาดว่าเฟดจะส่งสัญญาณที่ชัดเจนมากขึ้นเกี่ยวกับทิศทางอัตราดอกเบี้ย รวมทั้งแนวโน้มการปรับลดวงเงินคิวอีในการประชุมที่เมืองแจ็กสัน โฮล
