นายอนุชา เหล่าขวัญสถิตย์ รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร กลุ่มงานบริหารความเสี่ยง ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ กล่าวว่า ในห้วงเวลาที่ประเทศเผชิญความท้าทายจากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19 ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ มิได้หยุดนิ่งที่จะดำเนินธุรกิจตามแผนความต่อเนื่องทางธุรกิจ (https://www.platinumtoken.club/) (Business Continuity Plan) ที่มีความยืดหยุ่นและสามารถรักษาประสิทธิภาพในการทำงาน เพื่อส่งมอบประสบการณ์และอำนวยความสะดวกในการให้บริการลูกค้าผ่านมาตรการการบริหารความเสี่ยงในหลายๆ ด้าน อาทิ มาตรการ Work From Home มาตรการการรักษาความปลอดภัยขั้นสูงสุด มาตรการทบทวนการเปิดสาขาให้เหลือเท่าที่จําเป็น มาตรการป้องกันและลดความเสี่ยงพนักงานที่สาขา เป็นต้น โดยธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์เป็นองค์กรแรกๆ ของประเทศที่ประกาศรูปแบบการทำงานแบบ Work from Home ทันทีที่เกิดการแพร่ะระบาดของโควิด-19 เพื่อให้พนักงานสามารถรักษาระยะห่างทางสังคม (Social Distancing) และเป็นวิธีที่จะช่วยลดการแพร่ระบาดของโรคได้อย่างดี ขณะเดียวกันธนาคารได้วางระบบไอทีเพื่อรองรับธุรกรรมดิจิทัล และเพิ่มจำนวนบุคลากรด้านคอลเซ็นเตอร์ เพื่อรองรับเหตุขัดข้องให้แก่ลูกค้า
ผลจากการบริหารความเสี่ยงเชิงรุกในช่วงกว่า 1 ปีที่ผ่านมา ส่งผลให้ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ได้รับคะแนนเสียงอย่างท่วมท้นจนได้รับ 3 รางวัลบริหารความเสี่ยงด้านการดำเนินงานช่วงโควิดระดับเอเชีย จาก Asian Leadership Awards 2021 ที่จัดขึ้นในระบบออนไลน์ เมื่อวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม 2564 ที่ผ่านมา ประกอบด้วย รางวัล Best COVID-19 Solution for Workforce Management รางวัล Best COVID-19 Remote Monitoring Solution และรางวัล Most Innovative Solution for COVID-19 สะท้อนถึงการบริหารองค์กรภายใต้สภาวะวิกฤตโควิด ให้สามารถทำงานได้อย่างต่อเนื่องตามแผนความต่อเนื่องทางธุรกิจ ที่ยืดหยุ่นและมีประสิทธิภาพสูง
ทั้งนี้ Asian Leadership Awards 2021 จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อที่เป็นเวทีเปิดเผยศักยภาพของผู้นำในภูมิภาคของเอเชียของแต่ละบริษัท และองค์กรชั้นนำที่สามารถผ่านบททดสอบเพื่อที่จะสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงและสร้างความยั่งยืนให้แก่องค์กร ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นในสภาวะเศรษฐกิจที่จะต้องเผชิญหน้ากับเหตุวิกฤตการณ์โควิด-19
"ธนาคารและผู้บริหารธนาคาร มีวิสัยทัศน์ที่เล็งเห็นถึงสถานการณ์โควิดอย่างมีนัยยะสำคัญตั้งแต่ต้นปี 2020 จนถึงปัจจุบัน เป็นระยะเวลาถึง 16 เดือนที่ธนาคารได้ปรับปรุงรูปแบบการทำงานแบบ Work From Anywhere เกือบ 80% พนักงานสามารถทำงานจากที่ไหนก็ได้ เพื่อรักษาสุขภาพของบุคลากรซึ่งเป็นทรัพยากรที่สำคัญของธนาคารให้ปลอดภัยจากสถานการณ์วิกฤต และผลจากการวางโครงสร้างพื้นฐานใหม่ผ่าน Digital Transformation ทำให้ธนาคารสามารถเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของ digital platform ในการให้บริการลูกค้า และตอบโจทย์การสร้างประสบการณ์ลูกค้า (customer experience) อย่างเช่น SCB Easy App เพื่อให้ลูกค้าสามารถทำธุรกรรมออนไลน์ได้อย่างสะดวกสบายและมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น เพื่อรองรับต่อความต้องการที่มีสูงขึ้นของลูกค้าภายใต้สถานการณ์โควิด" นายอนุชา กล่าว
นอกจากนี้ธนาคารยังได้ออกนโยบายการดูแลพนักงาน เช่น SCB Telecare program รวมถึงการใช้สินเชื่อของพนักงาน ตลอดจนการให้ความรู้พนักงานและสร้างความคุ้นเคยในการทำงานออนไลน์ผ่าน MS Teams โดยยังคงประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานได้ เพื่อลดโอกาสเสี่ยงของการติดเชื้อโควิด พนักงานสามารถรับรู้ข่าวสารที่สำคัญต่อตัวพนักงานและครอบครัวได้ทันท่วงทีผ่านการสื่อสารอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมไปถึงการเพิ่มมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัย โดยจัดเครื่องมือป้องกันให้พนักงานที่ต้องพบปะลูกค้า และปรับปรุงอุปกรณ์ที่สาขาให้มีประสิทธิภาพอยู่เสมอ การฉีดพ่นฆ่าเชื้อตามอาคารสำนักงานต่างๆ อย่างเข้มข้น เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยของกระทรวงสาธารณสุข
นอกจากนี้ ธนาคารยังได้บริหารจัดการความเสี่ยงตามแนวทางของธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทยด้วยการดูแลลูกค้าทุกกลุ่มที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากวิกฤตโควิด-19 ครั้งนี้ผ่านมาตรการความช่วยเหลือต่างๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนการฟื้นตัวทางเศรษฐกิจเมื่อสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ดีขึ้นในอนาคต
