วันนี้ (16 ก.ย.) พ.ต.ท.ฉลอง อุคะ พนักงานสอบสวน สภ.เมืองอุบลราชธานี (https://www.ubonthainews.com) ได้รับแจ้งจากคนหาปลาในแม่น้ำมูล พบศพผู้หญิงลอยน้ำมาติดกอสวะ เขตบ้านปากน้ำ ต.กุดลาด อ.เมืองอุบลราชธานี ก่อนถึงเจดีย์หาดบุ่งสะพัง-ศรีภิรมย์ ประมาณ 500 เมตร คาดเป็นศพหญิงสาวที่กระโดดลงมาจากสะพานเสรีประชาธิปไตย สะพามข้ามแม่น้ำมูล เมื่อช่วงดึกคืนวันที่ 15 ก.ย. จึงประสานให้หน่วยกู้ภัยมูลนิธิการกุศลจีตัมเกาะอุบลราชธานีนำเรือของเทศบาลนครอุบลราชธานีออกไปช่วยเก็บกู้ศพขึ้นมาพิสูจน์และตามหาญาติ
แต่ปรากฏว่าระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยกู้ภัยกำลังพากันลงเรือที่ท่าน้ำตลาดใหญ่ติดกับสะพานเสรีประชาธิปไตย เพื่อนำเรือออกไปยังจุดที่พบศพห่างไปประมาณ 3-4 กิโลเมตร ก็มีผู้หญิงรายใหม่อายุประมาณ 50 ปีเศษ ขี่จักรยานยนต์มาจอดบริเวณกลางสะพาน ก่อนกระโดดพุ่งหลาวลงไปในกลางแม่น้ำมูลทั้งที่ยังสวมหมวกกันน็อก
ด้านนายสุวรรณชัย ทาระเกต เจ้าหน้าที่กู้ภัยที่อยู่ในเหตุการณ์ เล่าว่า เมื่อร่างหญิงตกถึงน้ำก็ยังไม่จมหายไปเพราะน่าจะว่ายน้ำเป็น จึงยังโผล่หัวพยุงตัวลอยไปตามกระแสน้ำที่กำลังเชี่ยวกราก ตามอัตราการไหลของน้ำช่วงฤดูฝนที่มีความเร็วกว่า 959 ลูกบาศก์เมตรต่อวินาที ทำให้แม่ค้าและคนที่มาจับจ่ายซื้อสินค้าที่เห็นเหตุการณ์ร้องตะโกนบอกกันด้วยความตกใจ
หน่วยของตนที่อยู่ใกล้จุดกระโดดจึงรีบนำเรือออกไปดึงร่างหญิงคนดังกล่าวขึ้นมาบนเรือในสภาพอ่อนแรง มีอาการสำลักน้ำ หลังช่วยปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นก็รีบนำตัวส่งโรงพยาบาล จากการสอบถามทราบว่า หญิงคนดังกล่าวมีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในตำบลเมืองศรีไค อ.วารินชำราบ จ.อุบลราชธานี มีอาการเครียดจากปัญหาครอบครัว หลังรักษาอาการจมน้ำแล้ว แพทย์ด้านจิตวิทยาจะได้เข้าดูแลต่อ
จากการสอบถาม นายสุคนธ์ จันทร์แจ่ม อายุ 53 ปี พนักงานกองสาธารณสุขและสิ่งแวดล้อมเทศบาลนครอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งดูแลความสะอาดของตลาดสดที่เห็นเหตุการณ์เล่าว่า ระหว่างตนมายืนดูหน่วยกู้ภัยกำลังลงเรืออยู่บนตลิ่งแม่น้ำมูลเพื่อไปเก็บศพที่กระโดดน้ำฆ่าตัวตายเมื่อวันก่อน ก็เหลือบไปเห็นหญิงวัยกลางคนรายนี้ขี่จักรยานยนต์มาจอดที่กลางสะพาน แล้วปีนขึ้นไปบนราวสะพานก่อนกระโดดลงมากลางแม่น้ำมูล
ร่างของหญิงรายนี้ถูกน้ำที่ไหลเชี่ยวพัดพาห่างจากสะพานไป 200-300 เมตร โชคดีขณะนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยกู้ภัยกำลังจะนำเรือออกจากท่าน้ำเพื่อไปเก็บศพของหญิงสาวที่กระโดดน้ำฆ่าตัวตายเมื่อคืนก่อน เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่เห็นเหตุการณ์ก็รีบนำเรือออกไปช่วยดึงร่างของหญิงที่เพิ่งกระโดดลอยอยู่กลางแม่น้ำขึ้นมาบนเรือได้อย่างปลอดภัย หากช้าไปอีก 1-2 นาทีตนเชื่อว่าหญิงคนนี้อาจไม่มีโอกาสรอดชีวิต
ส่วนศพหญิงสาวที่กระโดดสะพานเสรีประชาธิปไตยเมื่อกลางดึกคืนวันที่ 15 ก.ย. และศพลอยไปติดกอสวะผักตบชวาห่างจากจุดกระโดดสะพานเสรีประชาธิปไตยไปกว่า 3-4 กิโลเมตร เป็นคนผิวขาว สวมเสื้อยืดคอกลมสีแดงเลือดหมู ใส่กางเกงผ้ายืดขายาวสีดำ ระหว่างนำศพขึ้นจากน้ำได้รับแจ้งจากญาติที่เห็นภาพจากการไลฟ์สด ทราบชื่อคือ น.ส.พิมพร ศรีวงษา อายุ 31 ปี ชาวบ้านอำเภอวารินชำราบ ที่มีปัญหาทะเลาะกับแฟน และยังไม่กลับเข้าบ้าน
เจ้าหน้าที่สันนิษฐานสาเหตุการมากระโดดสะพานเมื่อคืนก่อน และมีนักศึกษาหญิงเห็นเหตุการณ์ได้ถ่ายภาพขณะ น.ส.พิมพรกระโดดลงจากสะพานเกิดจากปัญหาส่วนตัว จึงให้หน่วยกู้ภัยมูลนิธิการกุศลจีตัมเกาะอุบลราชธานีนำร่างส่งให้แพทย์แผนกนิติเวชโรงพยาบาลสรรพสิทธิประสงค์ผ่าพิสูจน์ยืนยันสาเหตุการเสียชีวิต ก่อนจะมอบศพให้ญาตินำไปบำเพ็ญกุศลตามประเพณี
