ผลพวงจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ที่เกิดขึ้น แม้ว่าส่งผลสะเทือนถึงระบบเศรษฐกิจโลกมูลค่ามหาศาล แต่ในทางกลับกันก็กลายเป็นโอกาสของ 'โลกใหม่' ที่มี 'ดิจิทัล' เป็นจุดหมุนให้เด่นชัดยิ่งขึ้น
กิจกรรมมากมายเกิดขึ้นผ่าน 'ออนไลน์' โดยเฉพาะบน 'สมาร์ทโฟน' ซึ่งถือเป็นภาพของ 'ดิจิทัล ดิสรัปชั่น' ที่แม้จะพูดกันบ่อยในระยะ 2-3 ปีหลัง แต่ก็มีโควิดเป็นตัวเร่งให้เกิดเร็วขึ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็นองค์กรขนาดใหญ่ กิจการห้างร้าน ไปจนถึงพ่อค้าแม่ค้าตลาดนัด ต่างก็ถูกดิสรัป โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการใช้จ่ายส่วนใหญ่ก็เริ่มเปลี่ยนรูปแบบมาสู่ virtual ผ่านสมาร์ทโฟน ที่หากวันนี้ใครไม่ปรับตัวก็อาจเสียโอกาสค้าขายได้ง่ายๆ
Digital Transformation คืออะไร? สำคัญอย่างไร?
Digital Transformation คือการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลมาช่วยในการดำเนินการของภาคธุรกิจ เช่น การเก็บ การจัด และการประมวลผลข้อมูล เป็นต้น กับข้อมูลจำนวนมาก และจากช่วงวิกฤตการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-19 ที่เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ช่วงต้นปี 2563 ที่ผ่านมา ทำให้การธุรกรรมตามปกติของผู้คนนั้นไม่สามารถทำได้ กระบวนการ Digital Transformation จึงได้ทวีคูณความสำคัญมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึงกระบวนการนี้สามารถนำมาปรับใช้กับทุกภาคส่วนของธุรกิจได้ ช่วยให้เกิดความยืดหยุ่นและคล่องตัวในการดำเนินธุรกิจ และตอบสนองต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้บริโภคที่จำเป็นต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ด้วยต้นที่ทุนที่ต่ำลง

'อันดับหนึ่ง' 3 ปีซ้อน การันตีความพร้อมด้านอุปสงค์
ประเทศไทย เป็นประเทศที่มีสัดส่วนการใช้ Moblie Banking ต่อประชากรที่เข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตสูงที่สุดในโลกต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 3 จากการสำรวจของ We Are Social และ Hootsuite ปี 2564 พบว่าในปีที่ผ่านมา 68.1% ของผู้ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตในไทยที่มีอายุระหว่าง 16 - 64 ใช้ Mobile Banking ทุกเดือน
คาดว่าเป็นผลมาจากการผลักดันให้ใช้การชำระเงินอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เช่น ระบบ 'พร้อมเพย์' และ Standard QR Code อย่างแพร่หลายมากขึ้น โดยมีผู้ลงทะเบียนระบบพร้อมเพย์ถึง 57.7 ล้านบัญชี และมีจุดรับชำระเงิน QR Payment กว่า 7.2 ล้านจุด กระตุ้นให้มีความต้องการต่อการใช้บริการทางการเงินอื่นๆ ผ่านช่องทางดิจิทัลอย่างต่อเนื่อง
นอกจากนี้มาตรการช่วยเหลือประชาชนของภาครัฐในช่วงการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-19 ที่เน้นผ่านช่องทางดิจิทัลเป็นหลัก จึงทำให้การชำระเงินอิเล็กทรอนิกส์เพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยข้อมูลทางสถิติจาก ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย พบว่า มีการทำธุรกรรมการชำระเงินอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ 243 รายการต่อคนต่อปี สูงขึ้นก่อนช่วงการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-19 หรือจาก ณ สิ้นปี 2562 ถึง 80% (ข้อมูล ณ เดือนพฤษภาคม 2564) และมูลค่ารวมของธุรกรรมที่ดำเนินการผ่าน Mobile Banking ในปี 2563 สูงถึง 40.2 ล้านล้านบาท สูงขึ้นจากปีก่อนหน้ากว่า 45.5%

แนวโน้มดังกล่าวบ่งบอกถึงการมีความเข้าใจและความพร้อมในการใช้บริการทางการเงินดิจิทัลที่ดีของคนไทย เสริมสร้างความพร้อมต่อการบรรลุผลสำเร็จในการปรับใช้กระบวนการ Digital Transformation ในด้านอุปสงค์ของของภาคการเงินไทย
เสริมสร้างความพร้อมต่อยอดกระแสด้วยความมั่นคง
การเติบโตทางด้านอุปสงค์นั้นยังไม่เพียงพอ แต่ผู้บริให้บริการทางการเงินและผู้กำกับดูแล (Regulators) ยังต้องตอบรับกระแสดังกล่าวด้วยการเตรียมความพร้อมในการให้บริการทางการเงินดิจิทัลได้อย่างสะดวกและปลอดภัย เพื่อเอื้อต่อการสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับผู้ใช้บริการ ที่ผ่านมาผู้ให้บริการทางการเงินได้มีการปรับใช้กระบวนการ Digital Transformation มาตั้งแต่ก่อนช่วงวิกฤตครั้งนี้แล้ว และได้เร่งปรับใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลที่มีความทันสมัยอย่างต่อเนื่อง นอกจากนั้นยังมีการใช้กลยุทธ์อื่นๆ มาปรับใช้เพิ่มเติม เพื่อนำเทคโนโลยีและข้อมูลมาพัฒนาการให้บริการทางการเงินดิจิทัลที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น
อย่างไรก็ตาม หน่วยงานที่มีความสำคัญอย่าง ภาครัฐ จำเป็นจะต้องเข้ามาสนับสนุนในอีกสองส่วน คือ การปรับกรอบกำกับและดูแลกฎเกณฑ์ต่างๆ และ การพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของระบบการเงินดิจิทัล เพื่อช่วยให้ภาคการเงินไทยบรรลุการใช้ Digital Transformation อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ และสร้างประโยชน์แก่ผู้ให้และผู้ใช้บริการอย่างแท้จริง
