รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ จุรินทร์ ลักษณวิศิษฎ์ เปิดกิจกรรม "สร้างรายได้ด้วยแฟรนไชส์ฝ่าโควิด-19" โดยกรมพัฒนาธุรกิจการค้า กระทรวงพาณิชย์ ร่วมกับหน่วยงานพันธมิตร และสถาบันทางการเงิน โดยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ กล่าวว่า การผลิกฟื้นเศรษฐกิจ มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งที่ต้องให้ความสำคัญกับ ธุรกิจ SMEs เพื่อขับเคลื่อนภาคเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะเศรษฐกิจฐานรากให้มีความเข้มแข็ง
สำหรับโครงการสร้างรายได้ด้วยแฟรนไชส์ฝ่าโควิด-19 ประกอบด้วย 2 กิจกรรม คือ แฟรนไชส์สร้างอาชีพ Road Show ที่จะนำธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์ที่ผ่านการส่งเสริมจากกระทรวงพาณิชย์ไปจัดแสดงธุรกิจ ในส่วนภูมิภาค 15 จังหวัด ครอบคลุมทุกภูมิภาคทถ่ววประเทศ ส่วนอีกกิจกรรม คือ กิจกรรม MOC แฟรนไชส์สร้างอาชีพ ซึ่งเป็นการนำธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์ไปจัดแสดงเพื่อเป็นทางเลือกในการสร้างอาชีพ และสร้างรายได้ กว่า 400 บูธ ที่จะจัดงานช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง ธันวาคม 2564 ที่ ศูนย์แสดงสินค้าในส่วนกลาง
โดยทั้ง 2 กิจกรรม เป็นการนำธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์ไปออกบูธแสดงธุรกิจ เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกในการสร้างอาชีพ และสร้างรายได้ ให้แก่ผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 และผู้ที่สนใจได้เลือกซื้อแฟรนไชส์ที่เหมาะกับตัวเองไปทำเป็นธุรกิจ ซึ่งเชื่อมั่นว่าจะมีผู้สนใจนำแฟรนไชส์ไปประกอบอาชีพเพื่อสร้างได้กว่า 10,000 ราย และคาดว่าจะเกิดมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจกว่า 4,600 ล้านบาท
นอกจากนี้ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ยังเตรียมเตรียมกลยุทธ์ในการรองรับการเปิดประเทศ เพื่อผลักดันให้ GDP ขยายตัว โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกิจกรรมที่จะทำให้เกิดรายได้กับเศรษฐกิจฐานราก ควบคู่ไปกับตัวเลขการส่งออก
กิจกรรมทั้งสองกิจกรรมจะเกิดขึ้น ในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนธันวาคม โดยกระทรวงพาณิชย์และให้ความมั่นใจว่าจะเป็นกิจกรรมที่สร้างโอกาสสร้างอาชีพสร้างรายได้และเกิดการจ้าง งานรวมถึงการกระจายรายได้ให้กับท้องถิ่นและมุ่งหวังที่จะพลิกฟื้นเศรษฐกิจของประเทศอย่างทั่วถึง
